But instead “Social Democrats” ??? DM aims to eliminate capitalism. Meanwhile SD works WITH capitalism. Which is what it sounds like their policies sound like. This has always confused me. Half the voting base will immediately turn their back upon hearing that. OT: As for Kamala, I feel like she's just being safe here. Like she said, she's waiting to see what the voters want. She could easily change her mind if voters start pulling for Sanders. This clip also reminds me of the video of Kamala being asked about recreational marijuana a few years ago. She wasn't for it, but now because polls show support she seems to be on board. People are allowed to change opinion, but I think what I like about Bernie is that he already has his platform. I'm a Marxist and there are lots of actual socialists backing him because he's the best of what we've been offered, but he's more of a social democrat than a socialist. I just don't understand why Bernie started calling himself that.... unless DS IS his ultimate way of thinking. To me it's a bit inefficient because so many people in the US have strokes over the word "socialism." And it makes it easy for the GOP to use "socialist" as a negative trait.
