That's the only thing that stands out to me. I don't know if citizenship can be revoked at all or if it should be allowed.

But I also believe in exceptional cases and this is one. They need to be careful though not to go down this revoking path for non extreme cases.

Citizenship can be revoked, but it is illegal to make someone stateless so the Home Office needs to be reasonably confident that a person will not become stateless if their British citizenship is provoked.

She decided not to be our citizen when left to join ISIS and yeah put her in a prison cell have you seen some of the prison cells they have more luxuries then homeless people. And I’m sure blowing people up is illegal

Better than being out in the world consorting with terrorists and promoting radicalisation, I say.

Sis she expressed that she was ready to come back... and go to prison, which she would have. Unless, of course, you think she is less dangerous out in the world than she would be isolated in prison?

Nobody here is saying that she should be allowed to come back and walk free, but we must take responsibility for our citizens and, further still, try our best to control the effects of terrorism.

I think we all need to take the emotional arguments out of the equation and consider only what is logical. This decision has clearly been made in an attempt to pander to the British public; a decision that may prove to be completely illegal, which worries me.

It's all dependent on what they decide to do if she comes back. She should absolutely not be allowed to walk free.

I don't think that the fact of joining a terrorist organisation that wishes to cause harm to the UK is an "emotional argument". It's... a fact.

I would personally be more worried about somebody having the ability to retain their citizenship despite fleeing the country to join an organisation like ISIS. Like - you can just go and support something that is not only the absolute antithesis of your country's values, but wishes to cause it harm - yet remain a citizen on the basis of technicalities? Strikes me on more of a moral level than a legal one.

Hopefully we hear the news that she has been killed soon. That may sound harsh but anyone who’s joins ISIS are not human in my eyes

An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.

I've never seen a video of someone who appears so disbelieving in everything that's coming out of their mouths. She literally sounded so vacant and didn't mean anything she was saying. She couldn't even name a British value 😂 so fishy. She's dangerous

"Rights for homosexuals?"

*bluntly says yes*

Unpopular opinion, but I believe the British Government shouldn't have done that. The UK should have allowed her to come home but they do not bear responsibility in bringing her back safely. When she arrives in the UK, let the justice system do its thing

Urgh I don’t like that video because it kind of feels like a sympathy attempt. However I do not feel any sympathy for her, she brought it on herself and she can stay there tbh.

I’m muslim and I don’t feel ANY sympathy for her. She claims to be muslim yet she represents it as something that it’s not. She also said she is okay with people getting beheaded because she heard “it’s okay” in islam - and it’s completely false. People like her are the reason why people hate us and think we are some hateful group. I’m disgusted by what she said and by how she interpreted Islam.

They should revoke all IS brides of their US/ UK/ Canadian citizenship.

All these IS brides want to come back to the country they supported to terrorize.  So many of them want to come back I have heard cases of women wanting to come back to France, Canada and US as well.

Honestly,  they married people who commit suicide to terrorize people.  Jihadists.  What do they expect will happen after their husband commits suicide and die?  Did they think?

These women in the Syrian detention camp came from all over the world to marry IS men.  They were teenagers when they went there of their own volition.  I believe they should stay there.

I'm British and have no empathy for her. She saw heads in a bin and it didn't faze her. She shows no remorse. There's no humanity there. I am glad that she's been stripped of her citizenship because people like her should not integrate with society when they are such hateful people and are dangerous to others.
