According to my last.fm I have streamed Gaga 3,000+ times since 2014.

I did the math and that’s $22.54

Enjoy your money Gags

Enough for a day of horse food. :derpga:

Although artists only get like a small fraction of overall earnings

Without touring even the biggest artists woudnt get all that rich

The point is, who said that they are supposed to become rich and millionaires?

I think we need to stop thinking that they are poor, we are poorer :laughga:

Also as I see it, for artists who don't write or produce, they need to earn even less compare to the writers and producers..

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

My point that I was trying to make tho is that only big artists get enough streams to earn a sizable income from streaming

All the semi-famous names in music will be earning crap from this

This article is almost two years old. Let's hope the other platforms are paying more by now. But I am an Apple Music user and always will be.

I used to use apple music when I used iPhones and now that I don't I switched to Spotify

I prefer Spotify big time

Apple music is just fine for popular music but anything more underground I find Spotify has way more selection

Sometimes there was underground stuff I wanted to hear or foreign language stuff that Apple music simply didn't have. With Spotify it's more rare that it's unavailable (although it's happened before)

But even with popular music, I find Spotify often has several versions and remixes available while apple music only had a few usually
