He did AMAZING for his debut as a director and he was praised everywhere! He doesn't need a nomination or an award to prove that he did amazing. That J 12,166 Posted February 6, 2019 Share Posted February 6, 2019 While I understand what he means and all, this is his directorial debut and it was an insanely successful hit with tons of love and praise around it. I believe he deserved a nomination but I dont think he should feel anything but pride. He did a phenomenal job as it is. I love what he said about Gaga's direction regarding singing. When I sang for years as a soloist in church (i was young lol), people would ask my advice on their singing and I would try and teach them to use their diaphragm and not just their throat but also to not TRY to sing it. Feel it and emote it as feeling. Basically the same advice Gaga gave Bradley which is rather cool. It's TRUE!
