Nah. This just shows she has integrity and won't allow her output to be dictated by a flagging awards show. She won't be seen as a diva or anything of the sort, it's The Grammys that will be seen as a dictatorship and with a lot of artists already refusing to go - it really isn't a good look for them. The narrative you're trying to push isn't going to work.

This proves the Grammys are problematic and unprofessional. Clearly this won’t affect her that much, if anything the Grammys are gonna suffer for it. 

It seems like you’re looking for any excuse to call Ariana unprofessional, when there really is no reason for it. She has every right to pull out of she wants. Lorde did last year, and she got praised.

I’m conflicted by this. I get the “artistic integrity” part but, imagine Gaga getting invited to perform a song from ASIB and then she wants to sing jewels and drugs this year, not because of her “artistry”, just because she feels like it. 

I don’t see anything wrong with Ari pulling out, but also I don’t see the Grammys as the evil in here neither. It’s their show, their rules.

Not the same, we're talking about the current single, not some obscure deep cut from 5 years ago. Ari singing 7rings is not something she "just feels like it". It would be promo.

No.  Ed didn't attend the 2018 Grammys - the last year ceremony and this is the last time he received awards. We'll see if he is blacklisted after this year ceremony.
