Hey, it’s not classy knowing that Demi is sensitive to what people say about her but it’s the business she’s in and it’s a joke to some people... she’s gotta learn to deal with it

Depends who it is and what kind of humour they like  We joke about dark times in our life, I’m just saying you can’t mock someone else’s misfortune and then be up in arms because people joke about yours.  You either joke about it or you don’t.

I often feel bad for her because I feel stans are often specifically extra nasty to her for some reason, but she really should have known that joking about anything ICE related is going to bring backlash. She is not great at reading the room. Also Demi seems to not have self-awareness about her own celebrity image and what that entails - as in she is known more for bringing important causes to the forefront like addiction, eating disorders, feminism etc. She got invited to speak at the DNC because of this IMO. So she can't go around like she's Chrissie Tiegan and post any old thought out on the internet. People kind of expect more of her. She can always get a secret twitter and post mess there.
