This is the music industry. You think sheâd be anywhere today if she hadnât had a ruthless streak coming up? Itâs not a place to give up your spotlight. Also, if you wanna be given a spot, make better music. You guys know that it would also have been other artistsâ dream to be nominated. Does the academy nominate everybody? No they pick the 5 best. Performing is an honour and they chose Gaga cuz sheâs proven herself and freakinâ deserves it. Let the others do the same. This generation just wants everyone to be given the same things all the time regardless of work or quality. Life doesnât work like that, it rewards the best. By sacrificing stage time of her iconic movie hit, Gaga is threatening her legacy. These are the performances future generations will be watching when we rant about how great Lady Gaga was in our time. This is her moment, thatâs sheâs fought so hard to earn. On the other hand itâs a really fair and sweet decision since sheâs not only focusing on herself and her career but also wants to do what she thinks is right - which is f*cking brave and thatâs why I love her so much! âDon't you ever let a soul in the world tell you that you can't be exactly who you are.â Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
