LMAAOO, y'all voted 2018 the best year of her career??? her career??? Y'all are funny as hell and have no clue. Obviously 2009 and 2010 were the biggest years and 2018 was good, but a flop compared to those years, sooo many records sold, ten millions.. Shallow is peaking at 5 and y'all are so extremely satisfied, like... how can this top those years? I am confusion, this is delusion.

Well, yea Shallow peaking at #5 in the US isn't bad, but peaking at #1 in 16 countries is very well. I think the reason why most people picked 2018 over 2009 and 2010 is because, now, Gaga is more acclaimed by everyone, not just by teens. She is now an acclaimed singer and actress. She is loved my mostly everyone, and back then, that wasn't the case. I think us fans appreciate the love Gaga is getting now and she truly deserves it.

it's not about the numbers sis. It's about the comeback, 10 years into her career, she's still repeaking in some countries, and critically she's repeaking worldwide. that is impressive  and tbh I love actressga so much 

for the record, 2018 was my #2 and 2010 my #1

Yeah that's right, but the OP says "career", you're talking about the artist herself, the best year of Gaga, not the best year of Gaga's career. Spoken bout Gaga herself, yes, 2018 is her best year, career wise... big no.

Yeah, the comeback is huge and it's nice and is deserves a high spot, I think spot 4, after 2010 first, 2009 second and 2011 third. However, careerwise it ain't huge or something, people are loving Gaga more, but her career is not at her peak tbh. She ain't debuting at nr. 1 like Ariana right now or Gaga in 2011.

career is not only numbers tho. she's finally getting her recognition as an actress, so her actress career is just starting. She's redefining Vegas, in which she'll probably have the biggest earnings per show ever there. and if u want to talk to numbers, she got a #1 hit in Aus and UK, which not many ppl saw it ever coming again, and in some countries ASIB's chart run is on par with Adele's

I would say this is her peak since BTW's single dropped. Her carreer high will always remain TF/M era. But this is as close as it gets in terms of succes. Not sure if she can almost get that mysterious magic back from the TF/M era, I hope she does. Back then she was mysterious, similar to MJ's album era appearances, hence why I felt like there was more magic.

I disagree. Especially about 2011. 2011 is the year she became overexposed and everyone turned on her. Nobody knew how talented she was as a singer outside the fanbase, as pop music was the only thing she was known for. She was already so polarizing up to that point, and it was worse than ever in 2011. That's when her singles started to underperform and people started saying she was "over".

Now she's an acclaimed singer, acclaimed actress, the GP loves her and knows how talented she is, and she's proven that she isn't going anywhere.  I agree with those who said 2018 was the best year.

You're right, its not meant to be, Professional  

If 5'2 was not shot before Joanne was released, how can it document its creative process then? You may be mixing up filming with release dates. Like ASIB was shot in the spring of 2017, and released in the fall of 2018. Big difference!

Precisely! But honestly, the reason why I floored 5'2 is simply in reference to the Doc scene, I actually thoroughly enjoyed it and do not think its a bad piece at all. It just appeared to be a very enduring time in LG's life, that's all.

LG6 will annihilate everything in that mountain range, regardless!
