But it was all a build up to the eruption that 2018 was designed to do! ....and 2019 is already shaping up to be yet another winner. We stan a winning QUEEN!!!!!!! Moreover, looking back, the Alejandro video is really amazing. However, I can't give it as high of a score simply because I don't have a personal connection with the year.That J: To me, 2009 and 2010 count as the same year in Gaga time because it was more of the same but better, improved and remaining in all its glory. From the costumes to the improved shows, singles and such...this was a ride that was firmly in its element. A well oiled machine running smoothly. It has literally been success after success...each becoming bigger and better and more universal. 2018 was her year! A Star is Born becomes one of the top films of the year in a short amount of time with rave reviews for her work all over the place, Grammy nominations and hints of Oscar nominations (which we know came true), Gaga hit it out of the park. Headlining her new Vegas show Enigma, Gaga may seem like she is set for the next few years. But at this rate has shown me, just when you think she is going down one road, she takes a dip down another and comes out in even more success and acclaim. She is truly the artist to never count out. She started off as a pop star who took chances and while the road was bumpy at times, no chance she took failed her. She has always come out on top and with more fans on her side than before! And 2019 is already shaping up to be a year for the books! More Vegas, awards, surprises...OH MY! And this is just the first 10 years. Girl, where do you think you're goin? To the top. Cuz I was born this way baby. Davian: My date of the JWT, Joanne (piano version) is one of my all time favorites and all the praise she got from ASIB. 2018 kept on giving. We even got a weirdga, even though I can’t attend, Enigma is so cool.SamanthaC: The year I became a stan. So obviously my favorite.Dancin: She was again on the public spotlight thanks to ASIB, Shallow somehow turned into a smash, Gaga came back to life with Enigma and both Lady and Gaga were able to coexist at the end of the year, we only go up from here ladies.PerfectCure: This year, I paid attention to her every performance/release/appearance wisely and I can't say anything other than the fact that it was a wonderful year.Rumours1977: This year has had some great highlights. ASIB (along with its soundtrack) have done remarkably well and are solid bodies of work (WDYDT can slip on a banana peal and drop dead though). It's also wonderful to see Joanne get a piano version/video, and it is really cool to see her kick off Enigma. However, there were a couple things that happened this year that were not necessarily pleasant to view (preventing a score of 10). Seeing her in so much pain at the end of the JWT was certainly not a highlight. Furthermore, the Grammy mess with Ed Sheeran was also slightly infuriating.... I'm still low key mad.KatieJudasGaga4: Gaga is on top of the world again. But this time, every one loves her. She is an acclaimed singer AND actress. She proved to the world that she is a talented musician. This era PROVES that Gaga will always be remembered for her creativity and talentSuspiria: The Paparazzi prophecy has truly been fulfilled. I mean yeah my JWT date got cancelled again but still, the world truly loves her again (and this time we're not just being deluded!). Some sickening red carpet looks, plus after Enigma last night she seems to truly be herself again. Let's hope this is a sign of the way things will stay in future.
