Songwriters and producers will hook her up with something (but specifically for her) and Gaga will rewrite and co-produce what they come up with/what she likes. The only songs she ever released that someone else wrote is Come to Momma & Till it Happens to You, the other songs she paid for were beats. She wrote the lyrics & created the melodies. I’ve also never heard of Gaga rewriting songs from other writers. She has always stated the songs she makes start with her concepts in regards to lyrical content. I don’t know if Beyoncé & Katy take songs & rewrite them but I’ve never heard of Gaga doing that. How do you know she does that? Are you one of those insiders? It is known and was actually exposed by Linda Perry that Gaga's changes to the original song Diane Warren wrote were minimal. I think that’s something else than just ‘beats’ I’m not an insider, I just read interviews with people she worked with.
