His track record... Is not great. Progressivism is the general direction of the DNC now. And Beto will divide more than Bernie. Bernie might even win over moderates. its not picking apart peoples past its picking apart ideology and policy. I agree for the most part. Beto has a great personality and he's "relatable" (snapchats himself making slime and going to the dentist) but his policies suck where they should matter the most in a presidential run. if I wanted another Obama I would've voted for Hilary in the part elections lol. what a world we live in though

He'd win and then get nothing accomplished in office. Plans and intentions only matter if you can put them into action. That's why, until I see some change in his head-in-the-clouds demeanor, I'll be supporting a left of center Democrat with pragmatic policies that will help us actually reach the goals Bernie talks about. In other words, I agree with nearly everything he stands for, I just have zero faith in his abilities given the current political environment and how "extreme" some of his ideas are. It's clear that voters want a progressive DNC. People are sick of centrism and want them to actually do stuff. With a smart democratic congress, Bernie can pull off many wins if he were president. Many progressives sat on the election because they thought Hillary didn't have an actual platform and wasn't progressive enough. Lol who said anything about hillary? ASSumptions are what they are. The democratic party needs strong leadership and someone with experience from a true state that represents the future of america... a senator from a state with less than 1 million people (all whites) is not a represenation of our country. Honestly out of everyone who's announced so far I'd vote for him. But if Beto runs, sorry Bernie. I think he will have a better chance nationwide. Bernie has a lot of baggage with conservatives and the DNC bots. Don't want a severely divided Democratic base. I agree and I would rather him use his 2016 memory to support a young candidate. That being said, I won't be upset at all if he wins the nomination. His experience is unparalleled. This kitten over here (meow)

Exactly, @glamour show .
