I truly feel the extension might be a postponement in a way. I have a strong feeling she's thinking about starting a family and the residency gives her more time and freedom to do so. 

I also feel the residency may be extended in part. Maybe Enigma will stop after two years of shows, but Jazz & Piano will continue for longer.

I love that the residency leaves room for her to do other things and that it makes her happy but I also hope she realizes how most of her fans around the world feel very left out because ticket prices are so extreme and travel costs very high.

I don't think she really cares to be honest especially when her manager advices her brazilian Monsters to come see the show in Vegas when they ask if she's set to perform there soon x)

She also said this in the opening night. Yeah I think they might have already been talking about extending her contract and this is just her teasing it.

On her first time she only talked about an additionnal year. Now she talking about +2 years (at least)

I think she only means she is staying for two years and will add more. I don't think she means 2 additional years on top of the two years she is already signed on to do no? Either way I am almost certain she is already in talks to extend her residency and is saying this to spark interest with the public. She seems to sort of know she is staying longer already.

at the rate at which she’s repeating this, it feels like the extension of the residency is already in talks, and she’s just mentally preparing us for it. in which case i would be devastated. i’ve been a fan for like 10 years and if this goes on i don’t think i’ll get to see her live ever 😭 but oh well there’s not much we can do

Idk how to feel about this... I was ok with two-year residency... but extending it to 4 years or more...its just not exciting...and also she has fans outside America that cant travel to las vegas.... tbh idk... and with this news, I just feel like the album is years away
