I'm sending Venezuela all the best wishes.

Flowers in my hair. Trouble on my mind.

Same:ohno:

We have two selves. One the world needs us to be, compliant, and the shadow. Ignore it and life is forever suffering.

The current leader is a total mess and let’s it’s people starve. Anyone who defends him clearly has no idea. He is the trump, just on the other side of the extreme

I think we can all easily agree that Maduro is wayyyy worse than Trump.

I hope the transition will happen in a very peaceful way :ohno: Best of luck to the people of Venezuela for a future that can only be brighter

This is a big step for us... I'm really postive about this since everything was quiet and people were getting used to this goverment. I hope we can finally break free from Maduro's dictatorship.

Seeing the videos of the huge march in Caracas was too powerful.

Btw, did you see the march of the opposition? It was HUGE. I was there too with my family. (The pics may not be the best examples since I didn't find many that showed how big it was)

To me this exemplifies the need for a balanced approach to leadership.  Pure liberal socialism fails as an economic policy.  We know that pure capitalism doesn't do any better … so...…….

The extreme left is supporting Maduro. Literally for what? Are they really that ride or die for socialism? Can they not understand that no matter how inept the president is at a lot of things this is one thing we can agree on with him?

That's an oxymoron. :what:

But I'm being precise and pedantic with terms  here. I see what you mean though. However socialism doesn't define a complete economic system. So "pure socialism" doesn't really mean much. If you mean specific flavors of socialism, yeah many haven't worked.
