Even though it's BP chances already dropped big time, I'm still hoping it to win. If ASIB will manage to win both BA and Ensemble on SAG, it might still stand a chance for BP since acting is the biggest branch of the Academy. Anything can happen. ASIB will pull a surprise. why cant you simply rejoice about this? like.... you people astound me

I mean even that is amazing because Gaga gets to win an Oscar but Roma is coming to snatch this year. Still, being the most nominated movie of the year is quite an accomplishment. Bradley seriously did an amazing job for his directorial debut. Yes I agree but as much as I love ASIB it had some serious plot development issues. It kinda gets a lot worse in the second half of the movie and I believe I’m not the only one who noticed this. Also at times I found myself bored. But I still love the movie and i think Gaga’s acting was extremely good!

This! I’ve actually been saying that I’m worried Gaga’s gonna win a ton and Bradley won’t win anything. He deserves so much more recognition than he’s been getting, for directing and acting. He did so amazing!!! See The Best In Everyone

We'll be happy if ASIB will get the most nominations but definitely most of us wants ASIB to win big at the Oscars. Maybe even you before all these snubs wants ASIB to win big. That J 12,166
As long as there is a nomination, I will be thrilled. Anything can happen after that and itll be whatever but to be nominated alone would be such an amazing confirmation and a dream come true. Christian Bale>>>Bradley Cooper (best actor) Alfonso Cuaron>>>Bradley Cooper (best director) If Beale Street Could Talk>>ASIB (best picture) imo Hunny, did you just say Gaga's performance was better than Close's? wow...you haven't even seen The Wife then. I understand we're all fans on this site, yes we all got our own opinions and we wanna support Gaga. But facts are facts. I don't know how many films you watch, but no way in hell Gaga out-performed Glenn this year. I've seen both films, ASIB several times, The Wife twice. It's not even about being overdue anymore lol...if Gaga wins, the backlash would be huge. Especially since Glenn is overdue too.

Chuckles 2,549
I think that Bradley such definitely get Best Actor, the amount of work he put in this role alone is deserving of the top award! Hope the SAGs give him the award thus setting an easier win at the Oscars.

Gaga was good, she was amazing for a debut role. But best of the year? Nah. Toni Colette, Glenn Close and Olivia Coleman were better. And if you believe it, then I can't say you know much about the art of acting. Glenn out-performed Gaga, it's not even up for debate 🤣 Gaga's acting will improve to catastrophic levels just like her singing has over the past few years. Truthfully Olivia and Toni outperformed Glenn and Gaga. Glenn’s performance isn’t miles better than Gaga’s either. It’s just time she takes home that Oscar.
