In case you think Glenn and Gaga tying is unusual...it's actually not.

Back in 2009 AND 2010, there was a tie for Best Actress at the Critics Choice Awards

In 2009, it was Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep (queens of Devil Wears Prada winning, except this was for different films)

In 2010, Sandra Bullock and Meryl Steep tied.

The more important question is: Who won the Oscar?

2009 - Kate Winslet

2010 - Sandra Bullock

There are only like 80 critics that decide the critics choice awards anyway, so it's way more likely to see a tie, rather than the Oscars.

Yea. At the Oscars, it is really difficult, but it happened. Most recently it was for a sound category something like 5 years ago.

It's extremely difficult for the big categories since almost everyone would vote but only a smaller subset would vote for something like a sound category.

Mirages

Well the thing is, with Oscars its more about the campaign you put on. It's a good sign Gaga tied CCs beacuse she still has the disadvantage of being a popstar turned actress, now that the Oscar voters see that critic's are taking Gaga seriously. I still think she's not gonna get the Oscar but a nomination is more than possible which is good and can set her up for another Oscar nom in the future if she goes more into movies and does movies without singins, because her biggest job with the campaign with ASIB was to convince the voters she is nothing like Ally and that she did not play herself. The Oscar will most likely be between Close and Colman.

I'm the bitch that's fragile
