PCD were a smashing success globally, they were dominating everything, they were second to the Spice Girls

The rest were ok, they didn't break the gp wall for so long but only the gay pop stans, I would say that Girls Aloud were successful in the UK but were underrated at the same time.

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

PCD had A LOT of bops, but personally I would hardly call them a group since the sole focus was on Nicole.

I prefer Little Mix

I don't find girl groupes insipiring at all.. If you are an artist with true musicianship and artistic vision why the need to always coagulate around other people? Just my honest opinion.

PCD. They had alot of bops. Like all other girl groups they didn't write their own songs but at least they made up for it with energetic dance routines.

Nicole was great as the lead singer and is actually classically trained.

I am incredibly surprised to find that most of these groups are completely forgettable with time. I was hoping I would find some powerful names here. Only Pussycat Dolls seem to have some sort of impact.

Every girl band had its hits, but ultimately I don't hear anyone remembering bands like Girls Aloud (who were incredibly popular at the time).

Maybe someone can make the same thread regarding 21st century's boys bands, I'd love to see if they are altogether more popular or it's just One Direction.

(by the way, you're probably forgetting K-Pop girl bands, who have been pretty successful)

All these other names besides PCD are fillers and y'all know it :lmao:

Like seriously, HAIM?! Danity Kane?! :lmao: And what even  is The Saturdays? I am betting many users here also just heard this name because of this thread just like I do :lmao:

I give extra props to Girls Aloud, since they were in the same level as Sugababes who are the generation when Spice Girls and All Saints passing the torch to them, though still, they are only popular in UK and its (ex) commonwealth countries :diane:

Many of these groups like The Saturday and Neon Jungle has Top 10 hits in the UK. The Saturdays have 13, so i thought it was right to include them.
