Grammy Visual Media Award Will Be Interesting

Looking at the Grammy's category for Best Song Written for Visual Media this year, it will be quite interesting. Because of Grammy nomination deadlines, the Golden Globe award winning song "Shallow", will be competing with other award winning songs. 

One song it will be competing against "Remember Me" from Coco. The song won both the Oscar and the Critic's Choice Award last year for Best Song.

Also, it will be competing with "This is Me" from The Greatest Showman. This song won the Golden Globe last year for best song. 

 

It shall be quite interesting to see how this pans out

If they are giving her SOTY and ROTY, then they can give Best Song for Visual Media to another

I would rather it win in one of the other categories that it is nominated in tbh.

I agree. The Grammy is actually the award she's most likely to lose.

 

Remember Me is already an Oscar-winning song and very beloved as well.

 

This Is Me also not only has an award, it's from a equally very successful soundtrack and movie.

 

All the Stars is from a hugely successful movie, very acclaimed artists and has a strong black movement behind it.

 

Mystery of Love might seem the weakest nominee because it's the least popular, but once every two years or so the Grammys like to award the "indie-alternative", and this one was very acclaimed as well.

 

Expecting nothing from the Grammys for now.

I am expecting Shallow to win as Remember Me has lost its momentum (it's released 2 years ago), meanwhile Shallow is getting Oscar buzz for winning Best Original Song at the Oscars.

if she wins one of the main categories and pop duo i'll be more than satisfied. Visual media can go to anyone since it's a very hard category. I just want gaga to have one of the big 4 + bradley should get one too since this is probably his first and last grammy nomination (maybe next year with the album too but idk if he'll get a grammy himself for that + the hype will have died). Anyhow bradley worked so hard on this film and i feel bad for his snub yesterday so a grammy would be a great achievement for him.
