The MP makes explicit the changes in the structure of the ministries, including the new Ministry of Women, Family and Human Rights, led by the pastor Damares Alves. Human rights, by definition, is the freedom to live your life regardless of how you choose to live it. So if LGBTQs are no longer included it's not human rights anymore. However, since he started his presidential campaign, his statements have been a bit less agressive. He says he will only fight "LGBT agenda" in schools, but doesn't really care if same-sex people get together (as long, of course, we're not talking about children). After he was elected president, he stated "if someone attacks another one, specially because of homophobia, there will be punishment". Let's see how this works out.
