Anyone confused about the interludes?

The video game character interludes are so confusing. I 100% get the ENIGMA/Petga interludes because they're supposed to be the character helping guide Gaga to find her true self and sort out her enigma  But the video game character feels so disjointed from the rest of the show, doesn't add any value to the storyline, and it's just so random and out of place  Most of the time it's that character spinning wildly in that galaxy/dimension and making cartoony noises/dialogue  It really confuses/distracts me and feels unnecessary

That anime character is Gaga herself while she is traveling after her ENIGMA (that star).

U can see they have the same hair and outfit.

Is it connected to the story that during the first act she has curly hair and after that her hair changes to the one she's wearing for the rest of show

It is there to make opportunity for great 'expectations/reality' meme with her from animation and her cheap wig on stage

So basically Enigma interrupts Gaga’s show (after Lovegame) because she needs help to find her true self. Enigma sends Gaga to a simulation of the future,  where she shows her what would happen if she stays the same without evolving and changing (which is bad).

That’s where the cartoon Gaga comes in, she’s the not the “real” Gaga, she’s the simulation of what a future Gaga could become. 

Then some things happen, like she and Enigma get separated, or the Gaga gets separated from the simulation, and then there’s the risk she might stay trapped in the simulation forever, and then she has to heal herself. These are roughly all the interludes/segments

i’m probably forgetting a few things, i wasn’t in a state to properly process everything lmao. But that’s basically the plot of the show

I was in the know then my stream froze in that part before Paparazzi and when it came back Enigma was telling Gaga to run and died and from that point on I understood nothing

thank you for your explanations! i guess i kinda understand it now, but it could have been executed way better and cleaner imo. and the random anime aesthetic is so mismatched. but your explanations kind of cleared things up for me. maybe you needed to be there to understand everything better, i mean i’m just making my judgments from a pixelated periscope

I don't understand them either, I don't wanna why she keeps choking in them, and why the mario noises  and why does she keep flying in all of them making it seem like that's the only thing happening in them
