I think a a work of art, ARTPOP was much more complex than BTW, much more reflective of Gaga state of mind. it was pure expression, cathartic. Btw was quite confusing, all the backlash started, and Gaga's hype started to change.... I don't know why, but then she came back from her injury with APPLAUSE, and it all got so electric and fierce, no plan but to make art at any cost. be raw or Venus, crying, odd but honest.
