I just don't think it's fair to blame Gold Derby when it was the Academy who awarded Sam Smith.

They are clearly saying "COULD BECOME" not when she wins or whatever. Anyway it's not Goldderby's fault that TIHTY lost the Oscar 2 years ago, they were as shocked as many of us but now I think Shallow has much more chances to do it right (much bigger & impactful song). Goldderby remains pretty accurate, I was just looking at their Oscar best actress winners in the past years and I was shocked when I saw how many of them they got right and guess who's leading this year (yes it's Gaga). I'm not saying she'll win but she has her chances and many people sees that too
