I havenāt followed whatās played and whatās not on that particular format, but if we think about, at the end of the day hip-hop/urban music has become the new pop in the U.S., so it kinda makes sense that big hits from these genres start to get played there. Also I'm a bit drunk so ready for a messy storytime sistrens? So I was out in the club for my friends birthday, and I see my huge teen crush on the dancefloor. I turn around and I tell her, and I'm suddenly so weired out bc we are pretty far from home and our old high school. She is like: "WHAT? What are the chances?" (She knows he was my first gay crush and he was like the jock, etc - I know, stereotypical but anyways). Later that night he finds me and he is super friendly with me and starts conversation (after giving me two kisses in the cheek, which yeah is a bit common in europe but not if he is straight and I haven't seen him in years that's weird). So he tells me that someone told him I'm huge Gaga fan. And he says he LOVED ASIB, he loves Shallow and that he always heard it on the radio. He says he learned the lyrics and wanted to sing it for me one day (w/ the guitar). After talking for a while he says he wants to take me home. Everything was so sudden, I said no bc I came with my friend and I didn't want her going gome alone so late. He gives me a hug that lasted forever and I left and everything is coming back and I'm a mess.
