I found what the contract / oath basically says: "The agreement asked her to affirm that 1) she did not boycott Israel and 2) assert that she would not while working for the school." Personally I think that the 2nd part makes sense. As a teacher she should not boycott a country while teaching or be vocal about it as it may unfairly influence the perception of the kids towards that country etc..It is not becoming of any teacher to do that. HOWEVER the first part is messy. She has every right to personally and privately boycott/disagree with any country imo. All in all this is a rather weird and messy oath / contract / condition for a job. I have never witnessed or heard of something like this ever. Very strange. Colleges don't count since higher education isn't mandatory. like a cat in a sil, I observe life, moving and still. If I remember correctly, the law was to help spread a pro-isreal christian empire vision of america. I don't remember much the group pushing it but Gov.abbot is a partisan party line voter.
