Awakened M 3,056
Aww...... I'm a bit frustrated. Pardon me, I'm a Cancer. So donut come for me. I truly felt Trinity would be a top 2 contender. No argument. I truly wanted Monique over Monet (I think?) Idk. I feel that All-Stars current formula is once again rushed. Some of these queens needed more time. I'm still weirded out by Manilla being eliminated because she felt like the true forecasted winner... Latrice wasn't going to win period. I hope they re-work All Stars because this formula is not aging very well. The twists are very ummm... pre-anticipated? (Trinity: I feel that there's another twist coming on....etc." RuPaul and her producers need to have a chill out, sit down writers circle. We don't want anymore disconnected/disjointed entertainment supposedly meant for our audience. Drag Race is turning into THE McDonald's of entertainment. (or at very least somewhere close.) I'm not getting any sleep tonight because I woke up to a beautiful life. I'm awake.

tomsches 17,444
I mean it's just SOOOOOO obvious what they did there. Obviously Trinity was going to win. Even though Monét won the final lipsync (at least for me), Trinity's performance throughout the show was better, and she's had much more impact and recognition in drag race in general as opposed to Monét, which we've known for less than a year. I feel like they were ready to announce Trinity as the winner. Literally EVERY spoiler vid on Youtube and every rumor said she was going to win, it was basically confirmed. But then they saw that some fans were upset about a white Hall of fame and decided to crown both. I mean I'm an Aquaria, I HATE double shantays. It feels like everybody did everything in vain and the show doesn't progress and having two winners feels as if nobody had won. It would have been somewhat ok with me if they had planned a double crowning. I would have been like, ok I don't like it but slé I guess. Especially in this season it would have made sense since Trinity was better throughout but Monét's final lipsync was better. What I don't like is the unprofessional way it has been done. I mean it was literally done via a voiceover and by cutting scenes from the different crownings together. Do the producers really think we don't notice? You can't even see Monét and Trinity together ONCE. You can't even see Rupaul saying that there's a tie. THAT'S what annoys me. And what annoys me even more is the reason why they did that. People complain about racism in Drag Race because there's a white hall of fame. But having Monét win solely for the sake of having a black winner, THAT IS racism. Skin colour doesn't matter. There can be 100 people in a room and 99 of them are black, but if the best one is white, that's what it is. Drag race should be about who is the best and Trinity was the best. I don't ****ing care what skin colour she has. Giving advantages and positive treatment to people because of their skin colour is the very definition of positive discrimination, which IS DISCRIMINATION as well. That being said, it's a reality TV show. Reality TV literally is made for shallow entertainment. And Drag Race continues to entertain me after all these years. So I can't wait for S11, AS5 etc. with all their gags!
nikola 4,342
I mean I get the twist...but whyyyy... Tbh this is being disrespectful to Trinity... I mean you have double crowning only because you want a black girl in the hall of fame... Stupid. trinity was the only right winner... I've got an "F" and a "C" and I got a "K" too And the only thing that is missing is a bitch like "U"
gag 22,449
I don't hate the outcome like... they're both worthy winners but this seemed like such a weird season to do it on? A double crowning would've made sense with Sasha and Shea but this seems so left field. The editing was SO awkward too because they didn't film 2 crownings... what was the point of it? Also the rest just felt SO off... the absolute lack of any suspense building up to the declaration that Naomi and Monique weren't top 2, and then the choppy editing. Something on the producer or editors need a massive reform of how All Stars operate because currently... this ain't it. However, y'all ugly Monet haters can STAY pressed! There's an explanation for either Trinity or Monet winning. Trinity had the better track record but Monet clearly beat Trinity in that final lipsync (if we're going by S9 rules), so either way I would've been fine. But BOTH of them winning is so... unsatisfactory. headspin, happiness, DE̤̣A̢̯͔̘T͏͙̗̟̫H̗̙͡ͅ
Fantina 3,370
Honestly, I am starting to get more and more disappointed in the show, and what it has become. On one hand, it finally became mainstream and people from all over the globe can enjoy their faves and see them in concert and shows when they are near their city or in my case country lol. I hate how it became heavily edited, when even I who only knows how to use Movie Maker and Paint to edit photos and movies can recognize it. I don't mind the double win, even if it does go against what the show is (a competition). I won't say that Trinity and Monet didn't deserve it, because they did! They both rocked! What I will say is that Monique will go in my eyes as one of the biggest snubs in Drag Race herstory, even more than Shangela. She absolutely slayed every single challenge, literally did not flop once, could have Dela'd the entire competition with 9 wins and in the end they treat her like **** almost where they said that she was the weakest of the bunch, like, bitch, where. All in all, I am sad that this talented cast was wasted on such a heavily edited and weird season. Until then, this is Elvira saying unpleasant dreams. Until we hear official confirmation that they wanted a POC winner, YOU'RE making it a race thing... not the producers. headspin, happiness, DE̤̣A̢̯͔̘T͏͙̗̟̫H̗̙͡ͅ
Guest
I wish Monique would have won, with Trinity as a runner up, but a double crowning with Monet? Oh Lorde. VH1 killed the show, honestly. Ever since they took over, we’ve only had Aquaria as a fair winner.
Wolf 1,328
Trinity and Manila deserved top 2, and I really hoped Manila was gonna be the first POC all star winner Once again, all stars format f*cked the contestants. AS was supposed to be the best of the best. Talent should be at the forefront not this romper room f*ckery. A double win is an easy way out. It's playing safe. I'm outta here
RahrahWitch 6,985
Wow, that was a mess. They Obviously recorded two separate crownings and had planned for only one winner but edited them together with a voice over. Trinity should've won alone in my opinion. Sneaky Oliver 22,254
The reason why they *had* to do this double crowning mess was exactly the online/fanbase/forum discussions about how a contestant couldn't win because all the winners before her had the same race/skin color. I get the representation topic. I'm not white btw. But this is just a game, the best player wins. It shouldn't be about race. It shouldn't be this sensitive at all. It's not a Nobel prize, it's RuPauls Drag Race Spoiler It was very underwhelming how they built up the whole episode talking about how Monet tops Trinity's star quality I mean it was clear she was going to win by the middle of the ep. Glad Trinity still won anyways though.
