ARUTW is shaping up to be a big missed opportunity

the song did really well based on just the movie itself, without much promo, and spectacularly outdid I'll Never Love Again which didn't do that well in comparison, but now it seems that there is no plans whatsoever to give it a push... it could potentially be a big hit for Gaga, but it started stalling due to no action being taken by Gaga and her team... What's happening?

I'm sad that INLA isn't the focused song just because Shallow did well :/

what are they supposed to be doing? She won't perform it anywhere just like all of the soundtrack isn't. Payola the sh*t out of Radio?

I think they wanted to focus on Shallow. I agree that the soundtrack has a lot of great songs on it but maybe they'll submit Always Remember Us This Way and I'll Never Love Again for the next Grammys.

they made the right choice, they focused on the song with both of them singing, and INLA just didn't take off, there didn't seem to be much interest in it

Idk I find that sad tbh I've always found Shallow to be shallow...lol just my taste I guess. INLA seemed to be the SONG of ASIB like I Will Always Love You was the SONG of The Bodyguard

Shallow was still increasing in US radio and doing well and now it's the holiday freeze. If nothing happens in january then I'd be worried as it may mean there are no more singles this era.

I think the problem with INLA is that it is too similar to those big 90's movie ballads... that's why it never really took off, it all sounds too planned

Not really. There is no reason to push a new single when your old one is still #1 around the world and then when christmas music eats up the charts. Also i bet they wanted to push shallow as much as possible to secure those award noms/wins. ARTUW can still do well in 2019.

I really hope so, that's my only hope... that they are waiting for Shallow to finish its course, and for the holiday season to die down

Its not a proper Gaga era until a random/ promo single surprisingly outpeaks the chosen one :derpga:

Is that because there are two version of INLA against one version of ARUTW?

I really prefer the way Hollywood does charts, they compile all versions into a single product.

not really no, only one version did relatively well, the other one was always much lower in the charts
