The artist MUST release an album to qualify (Or a certain amount of EP´s). They both released their debut album last year but had multiple well-known singles before. Thats why it seems like they have been here for forever. The same happened with meghan Trainor. She blew up with All About That Base and the year later released an album and then later wont the grammy
