But did the corruption find place on the federal level, did the party distance themselves from their corrupt politicians and is the corruption much worse than, for example, among the N-VA? I wouldn't say the N-VA is corrupt. They are or just incompetent (Belgium was working on the migration pact for 2 years and they failed to noticed it until a month before the PM was heading to Marrakech) or they are master manipulators and good political strategists. They noticed that in the local and provincials elections they lost some votes to the extreme right party Vlaams Belang so they started to oppose the pact. They knew that they made impossible demands because the PM told in september in New York before the UN that Belgium was going to sign the pact. The PM also proposed to ad an additional note to the pact that it would not take away belgium's sovereignty and it laws on migration (we added that note anyway) but it wasn't good enough for them so they left the goverment and said to the media that they were pushed out. Also our ex secetary of state for asylum and migration for the N-VA Theo Francken had implemented a rule that their could be only 50 requests to asylum per day as result the streets of Brussels were filled with Asylumseekers who were (freezing to death and were sitting in their own urine and sh*t ) and so he could complain on twitter (he is our own Trump) that migration is out of control and the pact would make it worse. When minister De Block (vld) (who is such a cutie) overtook is department she noticed that it was understaffed and removed the limit so that as many people as possible could request asylum and they would be off the streets in a shelter. Which is the more logical option because when you request asylum it can be accepter or refused an then you can acually send them back. But Francken attacked her of course on twitter where he was said that she ruined all his work in a matter of one week. N-VA probably had planned this because they are the only party together with Vlaams Belang who don't want to wait until may for elections because they would benefit the most from it because they can now play the victim an pretend that they are getting buliied by the other parties. The sad part is that a lot of people are falling for it certainly in the province of Antwerp (so glad I live in Ghent were the Greens and Liberals rule) where the N-VA and Vlaams Belang bases are the strongest. Yesterday we got already a folder of the N-VA so yeah the devil works hard, Kris Jenner works harder but the N-VA works the hardest Then you have the PS (The french socialsit party who is rulling Wallonia and Brussels since forever) and they are corrupt in the true meaning of the word.
