Manul 7,377
Discrimination is discrimination but the poster here forgot to include that these polls include only refugees, black people that have already settled in and they're part of the cultures they live in were left out. That they are refugees plays a part as well. 5 minutes ago, RAMROD said: Try being black and visit Italy If you're black and have visited Italy, please, do tell us. it wasn't laaaahv

We never said that we aren't racist I can literally pull up a direct quote from someone on here telling me Europe isn't racist against black people. Either way, I'm not arguing whether the USA or Europe is more racist, I'm just saying anti-blackness pervades every Western country despite European GGDers denying it. edit: literally 10 days ago lol headspin, happiness, DE̤̣A̢̯͔̘T͏͙̗̟̫H̗̙͡ͅ

You will find racism in Asia and in Africa too. Difference is that they won't shoot you for being white 『𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐝』

I never denied it and stupid people can write a lot of things if the day is long. Just because one person once said that Europeans aren't racist doesn't mean that the rest of us believe that lie. Immigrants don't have the education or the privileges you had, it has nothing to do with the color of your skin. When you say black people are criminals, you're being racist. 『𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐝』

I myself believe that the reason why ''hate crimes'' among refugees towards the native people occurs, is because of the stereotypes and inequality. Imagine coming from already ''bad'' country to another country, where the first thing you see is people categorizing you in these ''boxes'' that were intentionally created to discriminate the other race. What I am trying to say is that there are reasons why crimes happen, and especially among immigrants. The treatment they get acts as the fuel to commit crimes. Manul 7,377
Also, to add to my post above, a lot of these polls love jumping the gun on making it entirely about racism but a huge part of it is xenophobia, Europeans love to judge and be c*nts to each other as well. Try being Greek/Balkanian or Polish in central Europe for example, or even from Spain/Portugal and you can feel the prejudice. In other countries that aren't central Europe you'll see people calling Germans naz*s and French people all kinds of slurs. I think the biggest issue with Europe is xenophobia. it wasn't laaaahv

Janet 1,417
Guys guys guys, instead of debating if Europe is more racist than the US or vice versa, maybe instead reflect on the fact that both have a long way to go in treating BME groups better than they do currently. Don't see this as an attack on whatever nation you are from, but instead learn from it and stand up for minority groups when you see them facing harassment and discrimination, argue against those who have racist views, and so on.
