- WDYDT is just not that great, I've heard better songs that I prefer listening to when I want to feel happy/dancy.
- BIC reminded me of the heartbreak earlier this year I went through and I can't listen to it.
- Swine I like
- Aura is... okay, imo it aged badly like a lot of EDM has; it also isn't as good as the demo that Gaga leaked in the summer of 2013.
- Bad Kids isn't bad nor is it amazing, I like it fine
- SHICD is just... idk, not my style
- Paper Gangsta... that autotune... jeez.

Well taste is subjective, but I’ve always found the people who refuse to like popular songs simply because they are popular. 

However, there’s a lot of music I don’t think is actually quality music, especially when artists have released tons of quality material beforehand. 

Take Madonna...Confessions On A Dance Floor is what I consider to be her best album. Extremely mature, artistic lyrics, paired with stellar production. Every single track on that album is pure fire, except maybe I Love New York. But I personally think that everything she has released since that album has been a downward spiral of crap (again, just my opinion). 

Or you can look at Britney Spears...everything after Circus has produced maybe one or two decent tracks, but the worst of the worst is Glory. I heard one song from that album (Slumber Party I think it was called) and my ears were bleeding. It’s sad, but she’s also stated in interviews she doesn’t even really care anymore. She explicitly stated people hand her songs and she just goes into a studio and sings them, then moves on with her day. Smh.

Aura was aged the day it got released  so was swine 

I can't remember what Before I Cry sounds like so i won't comment but the rest you posted aren't under rated they're loved by many.. just not as much

no because sometimes when a song is liked by less people that's because it's not as good in the majority of opinions  so that could mean underrated or just rated exactly how it is, it's only going to be 'underrated' to the people that like it but that =/= underrated  idk

To answer your question: some people want more depth in a song and are not looking for bawpz, but actual meaningful songs. WDYDT? is simply not that.

It's not bad, the lyrics are just not deep enough for some, especially in the ASIB universe. But when you think of it, Just Dance for example doesn't have the deepest lyrics either
