Here's the overview look at the current fire and evacuation perimeters for Woolsey Fire (as of 9pm PST). The black area represents acres burned - more than 39,000 combined. The red + yellow areas represent the 95,000 residents evacuated in Ventura County. The fire perimeter does touch all the way down to PCH dangerously close to her property, but one can hope.... I feel like there's news of hurricanes and earthquakes and now fires all around the same area of the US. The sign for Guernsey avenue is several hundred meters further west on the PCH than where Gaga's property is (maybe 5 - 6 lots away.) I personally don't know how it began (likely just the combination of heat, drought, dryness, and wind.) From what I can tell the more physically beautiful a place is the more prone it is to natural disasters. California is not only in a severe draught, but the Los Angeles area is near a tectonic plate boundary (possible earthquakes) on the ocean (possible tsunamis) within a valley (possible smog), and the climate and weather conditions there are capable of making fires a large risk, similar to regions of southeastern Australia (for example in January 2013.) 俺の勝利は揺るぎない Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
