You're thinking of a tsunami, there was a blue wave last night. We beat tea-party 2010 numbers in 2010, and that was the original "red wave". We lost a few seats in the Senate, but that's okay, Trump won't get anything passed without Dems.

Yeah I understand that now. I'm not that well versed in American politics, but it's true that the Dems taking back the House is a very good thing.

Still wish it would've been a blue tsunami though, then Trump would REALLY be f*cked :vegas:

More than ever, the Republicans are becoming a party of middle-aged and elderly white males.

In other words, the GOP dies with the boomers :giggle:

Spoiler

That was really dark and I apologize  it's just good to know the majority of those inheriting the planet are somewhat sane.

Don't totally lose hope for Florida btw. I wouldn't hold my breath but they're still counting mail in and absentee ballots and the margins are close enough to trigger an automatic recount. There's reports of seniors being given pre-filled out ballots and the scanners being on the fritz in a few precincts so...investigations, maybe? There's no f*cking way almost a fifth of black women here voted for DeSantis. No way at all.

This kind of stuff happens all over the country and it's always in favor of the GOP. In Texas, choosing "straight party" would default to Republican. In Indiana, choosing the Democrats on the machine would select the Republican. In Florida, we still have outstanding votes in the three Democratic strong hold counties that they were trying to refuse. Eventually, we have to hold the GOP accountable for cheating in nearly every goddamn election.

Nnnnn Gillum trails DeSantis by 7 votes per precinct

There's still thousands of outstanding votes left in Broward, 75% are estimated to go towards Nelson and Gillum. Rick Scott is so worried that he's calling for law enforcement to investigate but he's only leading bu 0.1%-0.2% so a recount is imminent for the Senate race and probable for the governor race.

It's always Florida  I can't take this

PRAYING.

That's not to even mention the hurricanes that rip our asses up every year and they're clearly getting worse with time. I don't see how we voted consistently progressive with our amendments and smaller offices but people here are trying to give the two big seats to these fools :rip:

Again, I'm praying for a miracle

Nelson's lawyers say they're confident he'll be reelected after the recount

I assume that’s because the population distribution if uneven though. Middle America is not like the coasts: they have far less people. Because of that it looks like the whole country is Republican when in actuality it’s just a fewer number of people in those areas that tend to sway Republican.

If you look synonyms not just the Senate’s and House’s votes, you will see that Democrats have the popular vote.

I really hate those election maps because they're so misleading. Democrats usually carry the popular vote in each presidential election. It's not the coasts are entirely blue and the entire middle of America is entirely red. If these maps were more accurate, most of America would be very purple.

So Krysten Sinema has flipped the Senate blue I'm Arizona. She is also bisexual

Well it's actually purple. Sinema is now in Jeff Flakes' seat but the other incumbent Senator is still a Republican.

Hitler killed millions. I'm not saying that Trump is innocent of atrocities and immoral actions, but they're not even .001% of what Hitler did. Just chill out. Trump supporters never seem to stick around anyway, just give it time.
