ASIB reclassified in NZ after complaints

Spoiling the movie is nothing compared to a few people being triggered and possibly committing suicide or relapsing back to addiction.

This movie hits the feels so good that sometimes it hits those binging dark urges inside of you.

People who just came out of rehab should not watch this too.

I'm sorry but people looking to bubble wrap themselves from reality should just read spoilers.

Poor little mite. Whoever went to this length will feel really awful out in the real world where these things happen for real. What you gonna do then, doll face?

And how exactly does this rating help now? You wanna tell me those teens wouldn't have watched the movie if they knew beforehand that it's rated "M"?

Oh ok. No problem then :) I was really surprised about the rating as I head into the theatre tho right after buying myself a ticket (Suspiria but snuck into ASIB right after)

We can't forking make every single thing PC and have to worry about a million possible things that might upset any one. Are we supposed to round every corner and use hamster wheels instead of cars too.

:awkney::triggered::awkney:

Imagine if everything was bland and boring. It would be totally wrong to cater and pander to just a few people while most other people don't have a problem with it.

I'm confused as to how ratings work in NZ, but it's not like it was promoted as a feel good PG film. Its a storyline that has been told 3 previous times with the ending pretty much being the same.

New Zealand is one of the countries with Triple A STAR IS BORN smash. I can't believe this happened. Anyways, I hope the teens are alright. ASIB was that influential.

Not @ y'all 'lmao'-ing the op when we're talking about sensitive children here :air:

I have two little sisters and they are too woke. I know how they're going through (but yes, they've both seen ASIB with me and they turned out all right :))
