If youre talking about Shallow, I have it at 699,000 in the US with on demand only. And 830,000+ with Youtube The album is at 655k in the US with on demand only. I imagine that they want the Shallow performance at the Oscars to be the first, so that it receives A LOT of attention. However, if Shallow gets nominated for SOTY, Pop Duo, etc., would they refuse to perform there? HAC and AC will hop onto it and something tells me Pop radio will be quicker and overall more welcoming to it as its lyrics, composition, and overall sound are just more digestible than Shallow. If an artist does perform they will usually do a current single. Bruno didnt perform any of his nominated songs and instead went to Finesse. Kendrick’s HUMBLE was in ROTY and he performed a medley from the album and noticeably left HUMBLE out.
