Lmao this is so idiotic. Almost every country in the world has birthright citizenship. How is he allowed to blatantly lie like that. I know he knows the truth but how can people be so gullible.

Well, I don’t necesarily think this is a bad idea. I think citizenship for births should only be given if the parents have been in the country for a certain amount of time. For example, 2-5 years. Because coming to the US just to give birth and reep the benefits is really unfair.

That is not the point tho. Study up on the reasons behind the law and how and why it is used. 

Not to mention, it's the Constitution....one HE SWORE to uphold.

The thing is that the court is now solidly conservative with Kavanaugh on the bench, so Trump could theoretically take this to SCOTUS who would probably uphold his decision.

They can't. This is not just any law. Laws (executive orders)have to abide by the constitution. The constitution says what it says. Only a SUPERMAJORITY in Congress can do it.

These midterms are absolutely the most important midterm election period in my near 40 years on this earth. I've already voted. I firmly believe in January of 2021, Democrats will reign once more. It's just getting there that's the problem.

Hillary was correct in her last interview. The DEMOCRAT that will be our new President on that day will have a ton of heavy lifting to do.  In 2 years he has nearly destroyed everything....locked kids in cages, ruined relations with other nations, the list goes on.

I still know people that love Trump and believe everything he says. Even Fox News has started disagreeing with him but his clan dont stop.  I know plenty that voted for him that regret it something awful now but there are still those that support everything he does and says.  I call them sheep but I'm an a$$ hole.

OT: I actually don’t mind the idea of ending citizen birthright citizenship. However, doing it via an executive order just seems really the wrong way to do so. Our government has checks and balances for a reason.
