Honestly Highway Unicorn is such a good song and it's so underrated in this fanbase :(

Especially the BTWB version :vegas:

Why doesn't anyone seem to appreciate it? What's your opinions?

I prefer the live version, the ending with live drums is GREAT!

Life has a hopeful undertone |-/

Issa bop

but it's one of those songs where I prefer the verses to the chorus

I like the chorus sometimes but other times it sounds like a cheesy inspirational poker face

the outro tho is one of her best

Ehh it’s one of BTW’s weakest tracks in my opinion. I do love the bridge tho!

I like the verses in terms of vocal performance and production but the song as a whole follows a little too closely to Pokerface's formula without really adding anything in particular to it.

I used to dislike it because it seems to drag forever with the Run Run and the instrumental but it's a nice song, I learned to like it when I watched it live at the Born This Way Ball. I rarely listen to it because it bores me after a while but it is super catchy and a nice way to listen to Highway Unicorn -> Heavy Metal Lover -> Electric Chapel back to back.

Oriane

One of my favorite songs on Born this Way.

To me it's the heart of the album, a big rock-inspired song with pop and electro elements. These drums are everything. There's something really glorious about the whole song, the beginning, the chorus, the end. And the lyrics are poetic and beautiful.
