White woman harasses black man trying to get to his apartment

Anyone here saying 'he could have easily avoided this' by telling her (a stranger) his room number or showing his keys is totally missing the point.

Her SNAP change in character when she realised he did live there and insisted that she wanted to introduce herself as a neighbour. Mess.

Because its not unusual for buildings to have rules to not let people you don’t know in. She was on her way out with her dog, opened the door, and there he was, wanted to get in. (Or at least that what she stated in the video). She didnt let him in and asked for his key. 

So he could have handled this situation by e.g. just taking his key out. But no, he had to take his phone out to film, and kept teasing her (by saying that he lives there but refusing to prove it, which just makes the woman more suspicious).

I know. She was probably racist and this was actually what happened. But what if its not? What if she was just a very paranoid person who would never let a stranger into the building that she lives? Call me naive but I’m just tired of people just assuming the worst about everyone.

Yeah that’s sounds like a load of bs. “Not let people in you don’t know”.  You’re not going to know everybody that lives in the same apartment as you do.  He doesn’t have to show her anything yet he did show her his key fob. If she was so threatened and scared then she should’ve called the police. But shes just another racist asshole looking to stir up something. 

I just don’t see anyway to defend this womans actions.

Do you live in an apartment? I’m not saying the woman is or isn’t racist, but as a New Yorker, I never let anyone in my building or buzz up strangers who ring my bell.

I’ve lived in many throughout my life. There was no buzzer in this situation. He had a key fob and she just happened to be at the door when he was entering. She was just being nasty. No where near the same thing

Can’t tell if this is woman is a racist or not. She’s definitely acting a hot mess and sounds drunk, but to say she’s racist isn’t quite fair. She could act this way towards any man she doesn’t know who enters the building.
