I've never seen any music from film put in any other non-film related category, it's it's own thing. Even the biggest soundtracks with songs that charted well like Frozen, La La Land and Moana never broke into the pop categories, so we've got nothing to worry about there. But yeah, a Grammy's a Grammy regardless of which category you win it in. For the record, even Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter and Betty White and have got Grammys (under Spoken Word for audio books/poetry/storytelling autobiographies and such).
