Where's Gaga? :selena: I know I sound delusional but a part of me thinks she is coming to Australia to promote the film. It's released on the 18th, she hasn't been here for a few years. The soundtrack is #1 on iTunes, this could really be her comeback and make the country fall in love with her again. She could spend a day or two here and go NZ etc. :nooo:

I HIGHLY doubt it. I’ve contacted every Australian distributor and they know nothing. If anything it would be Bradley coming down. But there’s no premiere set or anything. We suck at promo :interestinga:

I know there isn’t a premiere set but there is early screenings. She could do what she did in NY and surprise the audience?

The premiere for the film is tonight in Sydney at Event Cinemas on George Street. There are media outlets invited and select few tickets were given away. Gaga is not coming unfortunately.

Yeah, early screenings for media people who work at Roadshow or whatever. Gaga’s only done *one* surprise screening and that was on behalf of Warner Brothers, in partnership with Tyler Oakley. I doubt she’ll even do another one in America, let alone randomly take a long flight here. Bradley is more likely to do a surprise screening, but even he seems focused on just doing small tours within the US. Didn’t he mention that the film was a collaborative effort and relatively small budget? I don’t think there’s enough marketing money to bring him or other cast members out here.

Sorry to be so negative but I don’t want to get our hopes up as we have so many times before re: Gaga + Australia. I’d say at best, next week we’ll get a pre-recorded interview on tv from one of our people from The Project/Sunrise who went up to LA during the junkets.
