Worst Decision Gaga Ever Made

Before y'all start coming for my throat, this is an opinion and i'd appreciate it, if it's being treated as such.

Anyhow, I'm not even sure if it's Gaga's fault. But here's my two cents.

The worst  decision Gaga has ever made was:

 

Her relationship with her fans.

She is so genuine and she was bullied, so of course she wanted to create safe space for her fans. She spreads positivity and wants to teach her monsters to be good people.

What she gets in return is rude fans, who not only cause her a great deal of stress personally, but affect her life as an artist. The most recent one being the "fans" trash-talking Venom on Twitter, which we still don't know how much it's going to escalate. Other moment that comes to mind was when she had to apologize publicly to Ed Sheeran, because some "fans" drove him off twitter.

This is not at all a drag at my fellow GGDers, whom i find to be very outspoken and genuinely smart people, who listen to reason and are not obsessed with making their POV the only acceptable POV. (well, most of them )

I can't think of any other star that has such a strong connection with their fans. She really is all in. Sure, BTS fans, 1D fans, etc. are outnumbering us. But I haven't seen those celebs come to the point where they have to defend themselves, because of what their fans did/said.

It's so weird to me, bc Bey, Katy, Rihanna, etc all have passionate fans as well, but they keep their safe distance from them and see them as money bags, rather than actual human beings that have feelings. (correct me if i'm wrong)

Like, it's so unfair. Gaga does all this great work to make her fans happy, only for them to drag her every move and make her look STUPID in front of the whole world. Like, not matter how good she can get, (Win Grammys; Do the SuperBowl; Be a front runner for an Oscar) the bad apples shall always do something to rain on her parade.

I KNOW, it's getting too long. I just want to say one more thing:

When Shallow was released the ONLY negative comments were coming from her own damn fans. Like, we're giving them  reasons to hate on her. Y'all go and complain about her vocals on Youtube and some hater outside this fandom sees it and runs with it. Spreading it like cancer.

GP is loving it, "fans" are trashing it...so those "fans" fuel the hate machine. Joanne 2.0. If you don't like what she's currently doing - LEAVE. Simple as that

Sometimes I feel like she should've kept it cute and should've never invested so much into ungrateful people who call themselves fans, yet only hateful words are coming out of their mouths.

And I must say her behavior toward fans lately (tho still very much ABOVE other pop-stars) is very much deserved and I'd be perfectly happy if she stops communicating with fans all together. Sure, innocent fans will be affected, but she really needs to stop being associated with disgusting human beings, who look for drama and dragging and complain about "dEm PoP bOpS tHaT mAkE mY bUsSy BoP"

Like honestly those threads get on my nerves. I totally accept your opinion, but honestly don’t make a thread about it. Sure some fans can be rude, but it’s just a minority, exactly like it’s only a minority bashing Venom (+ It was only for fun and not serious, a reaction to the REAL critics, wish are bad too btw). Also shallow is great, and I only saw one single thread on GGD „against“ it. Also I saw Some negative tweets, that’s all.

I'd like to respectfully disagree with your opinion. My opinion is that many Gaga fans put undue emphasis on the negativity of a minority of fans, often become upset, and create conflict within the fanbase. On GGD it is super common for members to pull these dramatic "I AM LEAVING" threads, usually because they "can't handle the negativity," etc. It happened with ARTPOP, Joanne, ASIB and all the mini eras in between. 

Gaga is smart, she understands that the loudest voices on social media are not always representative of the whole and she has communicated her understanding of this in many interviews.

This is simply false. You are placing so much importance on the smallest number of voices. By creating threads like this, you are actually contributing to what you think you're fighting against.

IMO: It’s neither Gaga or the fan’s fault. I think some fans have the same mentality as the fans she lost during ARTPOP/Joanne but putting her in a box. The same box her manager did by only wanting her to be a pop icon putting out hits.

I don't understand why a few tweets are something so serious? nobody cares about those tweets, nobody takes twitter seriously, only here every tweet is thread worthy for some reason... the GP is not dumb lol and they don't even care about Venom.. only comics fans cares about Venom.. this movie was meant to be fail since the first trailer.. 5 tweets of "gaga fans" are not gonna change that or to even harm Gaga..

The fanbase is larger than 40 trolls on twitter..

I'm going to make a thousand threads, if I have to until those people realize what they are doing is wrong.

You do realize that some of them are looking for y'alls appreciation and LMAOs and are willing to do basically anything to get the approval.

This type of behavior should not be tolerated from monsters in the first place, we should be a community...so Gaga doesn't have to be embarrassed later.

Honestly what concerns me AND many others: I defende Gaga all the time against those fans. And try all the time to show them „the right way“ in my eyes. I really don’t see the big problem you see. Such things happen in every fanbase + some discussion and arguments are good! Why always seeing it as negativ. I mean that World be so fake if everyone would be like „omg LOVE IT“. Idk, I mean I get you too, but there where to many threads like your leading to nothing (I made one too some time ago)

Y'all I can't be quoting y'alls all night. So I'm going to say this:

Think about the LMAO mentality we have, as a community, and think about the young monsters who see your comments getting 50+ LMAOs and how they want to be like y'alls.

We literary joked about trashing Venom. None of us did it. Why? Because it's just a forum and we have fun. Sure.

And what can we do as a community to prevent this sh*t from happening?

Did ANY of y'all go on Twitter to talk to said trolls? Did any of us really try to do something? Or are we all looking for the next edgy answer to a pointless thread so we can get more reputation points that don't mean nothing anyway?

I'm not coming for anyone, sorry if my tone may come as aggressive. I've communicated with y'alls for 2 years now and I get everything you type and I appreciate your opinions I really do. But is it possible, maybe, just maybe, that the issue is somewhere between the lines of our own posts?
