I thought it was over, but then WDYDT...… YAAAAAAAASSSSS I can't explain my emotions, so I just write it like this: It was just too good Heal Me: Also very great, nice pop song, fits well in this time, I waited for this song since the snippet of the song previous year, so I also started crying so loud.. in my room.. it was even better than the snippets we got 2 weeks ago.. Look What I Found: Not really my type of song normally, but I surprisingly love this upbeat piano song Is That Alright: Not my type of song, because I don't like ballads in general, but I think this is the best ballad of the album for the Lil Balladers very clean song. I'm so grateful that after 5 years of waiting I could finally hear PopGa again… and Hair Body Face even sounds like FameGa, I'm shaking and screaming… and literally cring.. Now we only need 1 DarkGa song in LG6 and then my life is complete. I really love this sound of those tracks I mentioned. I'm not going to share it, you have to find it yourself if you want it. I have not listened to the album yet and if you liked the pop songs, then I'm sure I will love them. I think of Bradley watching her shake her ass on the SNL stage and just shaking his head, LMAO. Every lyric in "Why Did You Do That" is either ironic or directly stating something bad. There's a major scene that takes place at SNL in the movie that makes this VERY clear -- when she sings Why Did You Do That. The verses are Ally saying basic pop **** she herself thinks is beneath her, and the chorus is literally her saying "why did you do that to me?" in regards to her record label and manager pushing a pop image and sound on her character. They're literally parodies and DJWS has a great interview somewhere where he states that every song and lyric was written to reflect the characters -- and it is! It works beautifully in the movie but makes most of the pop stuff ironic in context. "Heal Me" -- she's singing about Jackson and his issues, but also doesn't want to lose her artistry. "Why Did You Do That" -- she's literally singing about losing her artistry Hair Body Face" -- plays during a choreo scene and the auto-tune and beat is mainly what you hear to show her full pop transformation from the original rock/country Ally Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
