Kelly was planning to send a message to the #MeToo movement right from the start before it even got big, because he got annoyed by it, but he thought Meghan Trainor was an important part of it, met her in a signing event, and found out that she has nothing to do with #MeToo and “Me Too” is the name of her song So after years of watching #MeToo grow, he found actual important moments for #MeToo.
