Which Era Was The Hardest To Let Go Of?

"THE FAME" era honestly. The biggest début for any pop star in the recent decades. Once she broke in with "Poker Face" she was all over the place. The Fame Ball Tour, the minor controversies and meltdowns every time she stepped out in a new look, the Kermit dress, the bondage head mask in Manila, the VMAs and bleeding onstage. Once in a lifetime album. The performances, the interviews, the enigma that Lady Gaga was. whew.

Special mention for the "ARTPOP" era because in a way it was a return to form for her but it was so badly mismanaged.

Those of you who say "Born This Way" clearly jumped in as she was starting to lose her way, lose her magic touch, etc.

Didn't witness TF - BTW but I cried so much during the final ArtRave, so I guess ARTPOP

Born This Way.

TF was easy because I was thrilled to see what was NEXT.

TFM for the same reason.

Its not that those eras weren’t great (they were amazing), but the spectacle of it all left me wanting so much more that I was ready to move on.

BTW will always be special for the moments already mentioned.

I was was ready to move on from AP because it was downright painful to watch.

Joanne was easy to let go of simply because there wasn’t much left to do after the Super Bowl & Joanne (WDYTYG).

For me it was the ARTPOP era, it felt incomplete when it came to a conclusion. However, it is best that it did come to an end, it put her in a dark time, and she was pretty unpopular at that point. But she cared about only the music, and she was most creative at that time in my opinion

I would say ARTPOP... It's not my fav album but it had so much more to offer. :smh:

Who knows, maybe someday she'll release act II in order to revive the whole project and give it the right justice.

A Hybrid

I was only following her starting from Perfect Illusion, and The Lure and Million Performances made it easy to drop Joanne for me.

But looking back, it was really special. I can (almost) cry to Girigio Girls and Joanne all day. I’d live it all again.

I would say BTW because it was so long, huge and had a lot of impact, but I actually I think ARTPOP was stronger and harder to let go

ARTPOP but Joanne is my favorite era

Joanne is my second favorite after btw. ARTPOP was so hard to let go of because it was though we had to say goodbye to the Gaga we all knew and loved and she progressed into who she is now.
