Most actors do this so it doesn't really surprise me. I've been a stan for 24 years lmao. I don't mind honestly, I just think it's funny. What I love with Bradley and Gaga is how convicted they are each time they repeat the same stories - that's how I know they're real actors :vegas:

I think they've found consistency is key in reaching the masses- they're not trying to appeal to our demographic since they've already snatched us :vegas:

Well said  :applause: it's like the fanbase didn't learn anything from the sister's sister, father's daughter, mother's daughter interviews in the Joanne era :ladyhaha:

I totally understand that the promo circuit is repetitive and monotonous for both Gaga and Bradley. I understand how it must be challenging to come up with something new when you're being asked the same question a hundred times a day.

But look, Gaga is going to have to try and overcome this. She and her team have to be more adventurous in these interviews. If Gaga herself is seen to have only a handful of repeated lines to speak about this movie, it really creates a stagnant vibe for the film. I feel like her style - whilst understandable - is serving as an injustice to the movie. She isn't selling it how she should be.

If, in every interview, Gaga and Bradley have nothing new to say... what does that say to the GP about the film? It's really not great. And for us fans, it's pretty frustrating. There must be so much to say about this experience - we know it's changed Gaga's life. She must have more to say.

YOu're basing how good the film is based on their press junket conversations? Are kidding me? Do you know anything about the press? Every Actor as well as musician have a full list and series of questions they are prepared for, to promote the movie/album, the experience making it, their inspirations, etc. They all do this. The only reason everything seems so repetitive to you, and people like you, is because you are forgetting that you are watching most of, if not all of her appearances in this ASIB era. The GP does not. The GP will only see like one, or maybe two at most of her appearances. They have to drive home the same points over and over, and different junkets, because most people only see one of these appearances. We as fans, will see all of them. This is not a GAGA thing, but everyone does it. It's how the press works.

People forget that only crazy imbeciles such as ourselves watch every interview they give, and as hard as it is to believe, more people have NOT heard "the stories" than have heard them. The point is to reach an audience beyond Gaga Daily, and that audience probably wants to hear about Gaga cooking Bradley leftovers.

In short, it's our problem, not theirs. Also: welcome to an Oscar campaign.

Exactly! Most people who see one interview won’t see another one, so they need to get the points they want across all of them. Chemistry is one of their selling points, and so is Bradley not being a singer but still having a beautiful voice, and since Gaga has an acting background but it took 10 Years of world fame that leaves a lot of questions about why it didn’t happen sooner; is it cause she is a bad actress so no one else wanted her? If she’s is bad, why would I need to watch this? (hence 99 people but that 1 person counts!) having Gaga‘s face as bare as possible in the movie is a bold move that people are curious about, since that is completely „un-Gaga“ of her for them. And Gaga talking about „the difference is Ally gave up on herself, I never did“ is important to distance Gaga from Ally. Because for someone who doesn’t know Gaga‘s way to her breakthrough would find the story to be very autobiographic, when it isn‘t.

and with all these important points there’s only so much left to ask and talk about. Especially with the restrictions interviewers get for movie promo.

It's understandable to think she's being a little robotic, but I guess the same goes for every film promo campaign. I've watched a few interviews for Call Me By Your Name and they said the exact same things every time.

Do you hear that? It's poison.
