Because we couldnt hear her either they sang into mics hooked up to the soundboard so they could get the vocals for the movie. That would explain why the trailer version exists. Very dissapointed If its not the case. I’m so pleased with Shallow and you guys need to be more appreciative of it because it’s a big scene in the movie and the audience noises help carry that. Everything is right in this movie and you need to stand by it and support their project. Just wait till WDYDT and Hair Body Face or stream I Want Your Love in the meantime AND honestly the Shallow isn’t even one of the top 5 songs of the movie, in my opinion.
