Because they are edited in. When they were singing the songs it was dead silence from us in the crowd so they could get a clear recording. All the cheering is edited in.

In the movie it's much louder

People are acting like there isn’t a version without the crowd when there clearly is :poot:

but I bet that was awkward, watching her sing but not being able to make a noise :green:

You're welcome! By your comment saying a live audience doesn't fit the song made for a movie where they're singing to a live audience I knew you weren't informed and wanted to let you know. See you around!

Crazy. Thought we were listening to a soundtrack not watching a movie.

Yeah it was :selena: we had to like dance and silently clap to nothing. Because we couldnt hear her either :ladyhaha: they sang into mics hooked up to the soundboard so they could get the vocals for the movie. Nothing came out of the speakers

All this time I quite honestly thought they recorded the songs on the studio for the soundtrack and simply sang them live for the movie, as two separate things. That would explain why the trailer version exists. Very dissapointed If its not the case.

At least “Is that Alright” will be studio since it’s not in the movie

How will the album include live versions if they songs are vaguely performed on the film? And what about the threats? Hair Body Face , It's That Alright? And Before I Cry, they are not in the movie (?

Perhaps they performed them full when shooting and then just got cut in the editing. I doubt Gaga sang JUST 10 seconds over and over for one shot. The treats will definitely be studio. Is that Alright sounds polished

A REAL studio version definitely exists, and if anyone can't hear the difference in HOW SHE SINGS, well... check your ears:green:

I also think it should be released at some point. Maybe,in the context of the entire soundtrack, the one released today fits better, but the "growlings" of the trailer version are better than the entire Joanne album.

We're getting a new song after 2 years & lots of meltdowns and u're like WHYYY DID THEY KEEP THE CROWD I HATE THIS I UNSTAN :triggered: calm down :staymad:

This is our opinion, let us express ourselves please. This is not the first song in 2 years, we got 1. The cure 2. Your song 3. I want your love. and not because she releases new original material for the first time in ages we should worship it

This is actually such a sad situation. It feels like we’re getting robbed of an album. The song is awesome but you’re kidding yourself if you don’t think the mixing sounds off

Perfect Celebrity

I saw the movie last night and you’ll glad to know that not all of the songs are live. I’m so pleased with Shallow and you guys need to be more appreciative of it because it’s a big scene in the movie and the audience noises help carry that. Everything is right in this movie and you need to stand by it and support their project. Just wait till WDYDT and Hair Body Face or stream I Want Your Love in the meantime

AND

honestly the Shallow isn’t even one of the top 5 songs of the movie, in my opinion. I don’t believe the intention is to get it on the radio, it’s just promo buzz.

Just wait till you hear the rest...

John Wayne

this is what she meant when she said that the soundtrack is more of an experience of the movie rather than being a normal soundtrack imo. I like it very much, the applause doesn't bother me at all.

YES THE GROWLINGS.

She probably just re-recorded that short part for the trailer in a studio. I’m expecting the whole soundtrack to be live.

Studio/trailer version "WATCH AS I DIIIIIVE IN"

What we get/album "WATCH AS I DIVE IN"(and kind of a less powerful tone)

yes I get the point of the live, but the take on vocals for studio is better and powerful.

anyways. stream it Little Munchkins :firega:

Somebody better leak the studio version! :grr:

I hate that the version in the trailer is so powerful and raspy and the version we got is filtered to make it "clean"
