It really wasn't as bad as I was expecting but I do agree that it's very lacklustre after the teasing we got. I think the problem is with Gaga's voice and how it sounds. Gaga's voice sounds like she's crying and it's worse than Dope to me and Dope is completely unlistenable because I can't stand her voice in it. Does she cry in this part of the movie? I understand it's an emotional song but you can convey emotion without having to be whiny and dreary. I understand it's a live album. But we know her voice is so much better. Why hasn't she delivered the best vocals? If this is the same woman who gave us the sound of music tribute, Stevie wonder and Superbowl national anthem, why does it sound like she's very poor at performing live? Sorry for being harsh here but this is something I've been thinking about. To clarify, I absolutely love it when Gaga is natural just rocking out. One of the reasons I fell in love with her as an artist was because of who she was before she was Gaga when she was just Stefani performing in dive bars. But her voice in this song isn't on the same level as previous performances. You'd think she'd give the performance of her life here. She's even sung PI better than this and we all know it's a difficult song for her to sing. I just don't understand the thought processes of her team with this one. You can all come for me with your pitchforks but I just don't understand why if someone is capable of delivering 10/10 performance they only give a 9. I know it's harsh but Bradley Cooper was the one who blew me away and it shouldn't be that way. Has she deliberately made Ally's voice not as good as her own to make it more believable?
