I think it could even be the Oscar front runner. I do like the idea of INLA at the Oscars because of all the crying celebrities. However, if Shallow keeps outselling (without Best of the Week exposure) and outstreaming INLA at close to twice the rate, I think that means it connects more with the GP. Although INLA is the showstopping finale, Shallow is just as integral in the movie as the kickoff for everything that unfolds. I’m excited to see how everything happens. Also, I’m happy that my original prediction from 9/20/18 is slowly coming true (200k sales and 250k SPS). I think HDD is still underestimating ASIB. The AMC pre screenings last Tuesday had badges with download codes for the soundtrack. Based on the $1.3M Tuesday and Wednesday prescreening box office, divided by 2 to isolate Tuesday showings at AMC, divided by the $22 cost of the tickets, that means that ~29,000 fans got badges on Tuesday with codes to redeem the soundtrack.
