I was expecting the soundtrack and Shallow to perform as well as it has in AUS and NZ this week after the film's official release, but here we are NZ and Australia are here for the kind of music like Shallow. Some of the biggest hits in NZ this year have been acoustic, singer-song-writer songs (Shotgun and Be Alright come to mind). Heck everyone in NZ knew Million Reasons even though it never actually charted on our main top 40 chart. If Gaga's music was properly promoted on Spotify and came to NZ for even a day she'd smash.
