Well i do apologize if i sound arrogant; my intention is to better inform and not to sound like im an all knowing angel; im not.

That being said, education of cannabis is scarce so it makes people more skeptical of it and what it does. I've been smoking for over 5 years now and it has improved my life, the way i percieve the world, how i treat people, how i treat myself and how i treat this planet. Cannabis in the long term is more positive than consuming alcohol in the long term.

You did sound arrogant and still do. If you want to educate people then back up your posts with some pretty serious scientific papers instead of throwing questionable and unproven statements here and there

It is medically proven that cannabis can have negative affect on a developing brain. You're right that cannabis can help children with seizures, but I'm talking about the average person. Tylenol is good for when you're sick, but I wouldn't recommend people to use Tylenol daily lol.

Over the counter medicine has HUGE detrimental outcomes when you take them all your life. If youre buying chemically burnt cannabis it will have negative affects, I grow cannabis myself. That's why you do proper research on dispensaries before pursuing them or pursuing cannabis, make sure you know where its grown and how its grown.

Alcohol is a depressant, Cannabis isnt. They are not the same!

Cannabis IS a fantastic plant given to us from the earth! Cannabis does not alter your mind like alcohol, it ehances it.

Stop confusing something thats man made with a natural remedy.

It being natural doesnt mean you should take it as candy.

I get that it does wonders and all of that, but stop promoting it as if it was all perfect because it isnt.

Everything with moderation, just don't put anyone at risk.

Edit: I know plenty of people that have abused it, and now they put cannabis on the top of everything. Like no, promote moderation and education.

Right on the liver. But in the mean time u see benefits for fever or pain

Some foods that are bad for you that you start eating in your teens or 20s don't show health issues until your 50 or 60. Many people who smoke all their lives don't get serious lung issues until 40 or 50 years later (a few luck ppl with good genes escape any serious harm)

Cannabis could have long term issues we still do not know about

Ok. About the arrogance part I accept what u meant then, thanks for clarifying

And I know it isn't a hard drug or harmful like many other substances are and I get it has benefits

I'm just saying I think it's a reach to say it doesn't have any bad effects. Studies into this are still newer its not even legal almost anywhere yet

Even with foods it takes decades to fully understand how they impact u and science over time has changed their mind of what foods are good or bad and in what quantity after so many decades of study. I think something like cannabis could easily go in the same category.

There's still a lot to study on it

You're absolutely right! But what's unfortunate about this is that we all look at Studies to give us comfort or closure. Humans have forgotten how to FEEL. When you smoke cannabis you're supposed to feel your body, your mind, your soul etc

We've fallen so far when it comes to doing thing oursleves without involving the opinion or "study" of someone else. It's great to use studies to introduce you to the basics but we all should have the bravery and non resistant mindset to take on researching and experiencing things ourselves without someone breathing down our necks saying "well did you know this person died" "did you know they did a study and this and this and that???"

Actual paranoia NOT caused by cannabis is more lethal.

And here we go again with arrogance and condescension. :ladyhaha: How am I supposed to take you seriously when you make dumb statements like your last sentence? :ladyhaha:

I have responded to something like this already lol I'm not ignorant of the dangers nor am I for consuming it like water.

Lol hun you really have no experince with cannabis and seeing how it works (which is obvious) Social issues don't need cannabis so lets get back on topic sweety. :ladyhaha:

Then why mention social issues in the first place if cannabis had zero contribution to how we’ve improved from the baby boomers? :ohwell:

Why bring up something so pointless?

Yes let’s get back to the actual topic cannabis.

I’m getting on your nerves

I dont think i disagree with u there. I just think it's misleading or a reach to be telling ppl already that it's harmless. There's still a lot of dispute on that and no final consensus and I think it's too early to

As for living I don't disagree. I eat junk food sometimes that I know isn't good for me and once in a blue moon enjoy getting drunk. I try not to overdo it and stay balanced to not destroy my health. Living a little makes it worth to live. But that doesn't mean I'd go and tell ppl that there's no health effects

In the case of weed I'm not gonna tell ppl not to do it. I'm not even against legalizing it because ppl will do it regardless might as well get rid of black market and let government get tax revenue

I just mean I do not accept that it's totally harmless as a fact. At least not yet. If several years from now after more extensive research is done and the issue looked at more closely as it becomes more used and is legalized in more places (they are even discussing doing more studies here in Canada because now that it will be legal in 3 weeks it will be easier to study it properly).... Then in time I can be more convinced

Right now it's very new and health wise still controversial and experts don't even fully agree within themselves. So for now, I'd certainly refrain from telling ppl there's no bad long term effects.

That's my opinion on the matter

Im responding to alot of people so I am sorry to go off topic myself. But yes anyway lol Our generation improving on social issues is not pointless!

The main topic is that you are being intolerant of people who smoke and go to work and you allow yourself to become susceptible to negativity when you have to work around people who consume it. You are the master of your own reality, if you don't like it then go somewhere else! But you will not work anywhere without someone thats smokes cannabis UNLESS you're self employed or a CEO that forbids cannabis or work from home. Simple.

Well, so long this doesn't bar anyone younger than that to still be able to use it for medical reason in some outstanding cases. In the end it will still be legal, people just need to be 21 before they can smoke it which is passable.

I find it ironic that Canada's most conservative Province (Alberta) will have the lowest age and Quebec one of the most Liberal will have the oldest age

Quebec said if they could put it to 25 they would, as the brain is still having transformations till were 25 y-o. they really based themselves on science regarding that, liberal or not.
