I think there were a few different versions of Heal Me... rehearsal and performance. That and WDYDT performance are the only straight up pop songs I can remember, although she sings a poppy ballad during the credits. The final ballad of the movie was completely mind blowing. Her voice and emotions... i still get chills thinking about it. TBH I wanted some pop but the songs that i loved the most were the country-ish ones and the ballads! I paid attention to the (old) people around me as we left, and all the comments were how beautiful the soundtrack was, how great bradley cooper was, and how AMAZING gaga was both as an actress and a vocalist. i honeslty think this is her BODYGUARD soundtrack. It wont outsell it, but it will solidify her as a movie star and i really think it will sell huge. I can guarnatee it will win at least one music based Oscar (best original song or soundtrack?). So is Bradley. also, my favorite thing about the whole experience was people around me (including my date) making comments like WOW i had no idea how talented she is, how beautiful her voice was, that she could act, etc. She steals the movie and her and Cooper are just epic together... it was so nice to hear people talking about how they fell in love with her after watching this!! Either the scene when the sing Shallow (in the trailer but so much longer... i got goosebumps) or the final scene when she sings I'll Never Love Again. The entire last 20 minutes of the movie are just unreal. An emotional rollercoaster, and an epic performance. It honestly reminded me of Whitney singing I Will Always Love You... starts out subdued and emotional but she takes it to church. I was a mess lol. I also cant stop thinking about the cinematography and direction. One scene Ally is in the dance studio rehearsing, and he is just watching her dance. The entire shot is his face, while she dances behind his profile but you can only really see her silhouette... its almost like a light flare... but you can tell she is nailing the choreo. It was such an interesting shot that made me really appreciate Cooper's direction. 2. Which song off the soundtrack would you choose as the first/promo single for radio? Shallow for sure, the hook is so good peopel are singing it just from the trailer. The 2 pop songs are good but I dont see them being used for promo. They help tell the story and keep it moving, but the duets and power ballads are what really TELLS the story. 3. Was there a moment when Gaga had blond hair (or just brown and red)? I dont think so. She's brunette most if it (maybe up to 60% of the movie), bright orange/red for the last 30% or so. I cant remember her hair in the final scenes but it wasnt orange and it wasnt dark brown like the first half. If i remember correctly, we see Ally as a blonde in promo images (a billboard) but she's red in person during that time. Sorry I cant remember exactly, but almost positive Ally's album cover she is dirty blonde? 4. How did look the scene when they showed Joanne World Tour stage and what song was performed there? I'm not sure to be honest. I never knew they filmed at Joanne so couldnt tell you.
