Finally, I'm so excited about being able to vote for the first time. It's so important that everybody, especially . ypung people, participate in not just their local elections, but important ones like this one.

I'm just curious about their refugees politics. I have some German friends. Some of them said that refugees should kicked out from Germany and Europe. But some think it's okay.

Refugees welcome, obviously. Germany kind of mishandled the situation and also misjudged our ability to cope with so many refugees. So, I guess I can understand where the negative stigma against refugees comes from, since it has become a small burden. Yet I think it's awesome that so many people want to live a better life in the country that I was born in. Many people don't seem to realize how lucky one is to be born and to live in Europe.

European elections for a party? :oprah:

Perhaps this is something I should know about already but I don't...

Is there a Government above all of European Nations?

I know there's a central bank for all of the EU and certain positions of authority even rotate every 6 months or so but I didn't know about a party

Yes. Voting for the European Parliament and it’s head. Currently it’s Juncker

Bit late to the party, but rooting for S&D for these elections, just because I want a left-wing Spitzenkandidat.

Not gonna vote anything ALDE-aligned because the VVD is a part of it :rip:

a tip for other people: there's an Animal Rights party participating in many countries. They're already quite big (5%) in the Netherlands, but if they get at least 1 seat in other European countries they can start a pan-European party. Their maint points are preserving ecology, animal rights and fighting climate change and they're generally leftist/anti-racist though that's not their focus.
